Hollywood Hustle: A Thriller

Hollywood Hustle is the debut novel of actor Jon Lindstrom. Ex-film star Winston Greene wakes up to find his sweet six-year-old granddaughter in his home. But where is his daughter, the girl’s mother? She’s been kidnapped, of course, and the killers want all of Win’s money. The problem? Win doesn’t have any money. After medical bills wiped him out a few years ago, the only thing he has left of his fortune and fame is his beautiful house. Win gets a few friends together to help him figure out what to do and in the process, figures out why the bad guys decided to target him.

This book is well-written and an easy read to follow. Although the characters, including Win, are rough around the edges, they are all well-developed and readers will have no problem understanding the chronology of the story.

Hollywood Hustle is entertaining and would make a great action movie. I would recommend it to fans of David Baldacci’s 620 man series and Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolitar series because of the strong male protagonist.
