In this version of the book, Hal and his friend Dwayne modify the six steps known as S.A.V.E.R.S. (Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing) for those who are fifty plus.
I enjoyed this book mainly for its resources and anecdotal stories. As someone who has read a lot of self-help books, I often find it difficult to find new, fresh ideas to better myself. The S.A.V.E.R.S. were not new to me, but in each category, Hal gives tips on how to make each step customizable to your life. I loved how there were separate suggestions for people according to their decade of life. (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s). There were also several great book recommendations that I will surely be checking out.
