As a female in an executive role in which I manage a team built exclusively of women, I am well acquainted with the issues and challenges that women face in their careers. I would recommend that all managers – but especially managers who are men – read this book so that they can gain a better understanding of what their female employees face in the workplace on a daily basis. Eberle Walker also provides pragmatic tips for mentoring women to bring them to their fullest potential. The book is split into nine “rules” that will help you connect with your employees, show them respect, and mentor them effectively.
