Pokémon Journeys, Vol. 1

Pokemon Journeys, Vol. 1 is the story of how Ash and Goh meet and embark on a shared journey to find, catch, and defeat the most Pokemon and become some of the best Pokemon trainers and Master around. The story begins with Ash looking for trainers to battle him to increase his trainer status when luck interfered and he ran into Goh; the two hit it off immediately. Goh was being particular with the Pokemon he caught, not having caught any as of yet due to his obsession with one particular species. Fate intervenes with Ash getting to battle the world champion Pokemon master and Goh gathering a deeper appreciation and comprehension of what it means to be a good trainer with Ash’s help.

Pokemon Journeys, Vol. 1 is exciting and fast-paced. The story is broken up into six chapters with the characters clearly explained beforehand. Readers who aren’t as familiar or know nothing about Pokemon are not excluded from enjoying the story and can use the book to gain knowledge of this fun and imaginative world that has become a big part of so many people’s lives outside of their imagination.
