Expiration Dates: A Novel

Expiration Dates is a sweet story about love and the boundaries we set for ourselves. Ever since the fifth grade, Daphne has received little notes with a boy’s name and a period of time written on it. She realizes that this is how long she will be dating the person and she gladly goes along with what the universe has in store for her. But life gets complicated and one day, she receives a note that says Jake. There is no “expiration date” on the note so Daphne takes it as a sign this is her soulmate.

This book does a wonderful job of exploring the what-ifs. What if you knew how long your relationships would last? What if one day you didn’t? If there was no expiration date written, would you know if the relationship was meant to end?

This book addresses themes such as love, major life decisions, friendship, sacrifice, and being true to onesself. Wonderfully written from cover to cover with characters that readers will fall in love with, Expiration Dates is a truly lovely experience.
