Blood Like Mine

Rebecca Carter’s mind is on the road going forward, far from home and the past. She is driving with her daughter Moonflower in tow. Any unscheduled stops or encounters with strangers only bring trepidation to Rebecca. As Rebecca and Moonflower traverse the country, resources are beginning to dwindle. Moonflower is complaining of hunger, but Rebecca urges patience. Rebecca always comes through for Moonflower and will never let her suffer.

Marc Donner is an FBI agent who works primarily in the cybercrimes unit. He has helped catch predators through catfishing operations. Recently, he has become aware of a score of killings of pedophiles, which he believes are the work of a serial killer. The killings are methodical yet brutal. Donner is convinced the perpetrator is female. His superiors have doubts, but events are about to unfold that will rattle the FBI and law enforcement.

Blood Like Mine is the latest triumph from author Stuart Neville (The House of Ashes). Neville has proven his chops as a mystery writer with his previous books, but his newest effort reflects a perfectly executed dive into the horror genre.
