Q. Why did you want to start reviewing for Manhattan Book Review?
A. Since I am retired I have the time to review books and I also enjoy writing them. I like to feel that our local underfunded library in Amador County benefits from my book donations.
Q. What is your favorite genre?
A. I prefer reviewing mostly books on food and cooking.
Q. Other than reading, what do you like to do with your free time?
A. During my free time I volunteer at the Hospice Thrift Store testing and pricing electric/electronic donations, but I am also active in traditional black-and-white photography printing in my darkroom.
